Summer Analyst

First I was contacted by the HR that I have been selected for interviews for the Asia Pacific investment banking team based in Hong Kong. First interview was a basic finance interview that lasted 30 mins, consisting of both technical and behavioural questions. My interviewer was an associate. Second interview was a phone interview with an associate as well. Not that much of a difference between the first two rounds, fairly typical. I was later invited to participate in the New York Superday, however, since I am on exchange I interviewed through video conference. The super day was 3 hours long with four separate interviewers, consisting of both technical and behavioural questions. However, one of my interview was conducted entirely in Chinese, even if you speak fluent Chinese at home, you may still have difficulty carrying the conversation as many finance terms were in Chinese. Technicals were relatively easy and standard, no brain-teaser.
