Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Received this interview through applying online and a referral from an alumni who pushed for me. The interview was much more fast-paced than any other S&T interview I have had. The fit portion of the interview came at the start and was very hurried. The interviewer asked the few questions about my background and from stuff off my CV but quickly moved on to the markets. Normally, the markets based questions have been based on equity markets and big market occurrences. Moreover, they have delved deeper into the answers that I have given to see how much I really know but in this scenario the interviewer wouldn't follow up on any of my answers. He simply moved on to the next question very quickly and the questions ranged across a lot of asset classes.

Advice would be to read up on what's going on across all asset classes and across emerging markets as well. Know your probability because there are a few random probability questions thrown into the mix even when you aren't really expecting them. Be sure to have very specific questions related to the company because the interviewer was keen to mention that while firm culture is a major topic nowadays, there aren't huge differences so there is difficulty in conveying a genuine interest for the firm while still sound genuine.
