Please describe the interview / hiring process.
In the UK firms offer a pre-internship called "Spring week" (done in Easter Break). At the end of the week firms may offer you the chance to fast-track interview for the summer internship program, which I did.
The interview day consisted of 1 presentation (which we were only told about on the day and you had 30 mins to prepare) which consisted of a stock pitch, followed by a number of interviews.
My interviews were a mix of competency and numerical reasoning, and always included a question along the lines of "how many planes landed in London so far this year?"
On the same day, candidates who impressed got invited back to interview with the rest of the team where it turned more into a fit interview (along with a few brain teasers)
