Summer Intern

I applied for this position through my school's career center and an alumni connection. It was meant to be an early college special internship because I had only finished my freshman year of college. I just had to submit my resume and cover letter and it was forwarded to the recruiter.

The first interview was an initial phone screening were they asked super basic interview questions and lasted only about 15 minutes. After that, I came in to the 383 Madison Ave office to meet with my manager and those were also overall fit questions, since I was only a freshman I wasn't expected to know much about specific finance / technical knowledge.

My only advice is to work with your school's career center from as early as possible and become good friends with the career center staff. They're the ones that will be rooting for you through the recruiting process.
