What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
After applying online, I was invited to a phone interview. Communication with the recruiter was smooth and they called me at the schedule slot.
The interview was pretty basic as it was the first stage. Most of the questions were competency-based asking you to provide real-life examples of how you handed certain situations. No technical question was asked to me.
I did not get to the further stage unfortunately. I believe this was mostly due to stress as it was my first ever interview with a bank. For this stage, the only advice to give would be to do your research on the firm: why this program and why JPM. Also, make sure you can relate everything you say to real life examples, using the STAR technique.
