Credit & markets summer analyst

Joined a Zoom call for the JPMorgan summer intern roles, and the recruiters made it clear that being on this call was a step in the right direction and that we should feel good about applying. This makes me believe that they noted if you were on that Zoom call. Keep in mind this Zoom call was open to all students around the world, but I guess not everyone took the time to find it. We were then sent an email about roles, so I can definitely say our emails were noted down, and this gave us a leg up in the application process.

I did a HireVue and really emphasized my leadership ability, eventually landing an interview, which was 30 minutes behavioral and 30 minutes technical. In the technical portion, they asked a question about markets and a condition that I found fascinating, along with what it affects in relation to AI. The behaviorals were very basic—the most standard behavioral questions—and the interviewer was very nice. In contrast, the technical interviewer was a very monotone guy who showed no emotion. However, when you ask them questions, be personable, but of course, don't let it stray away from the topic at hand. I managed to crack a smile out of the monotone interviewer with a question I asked him at the end. Then, about a week later, I got a call with my offer.
