What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Interview process was a bit longer than usual, consisting of 9 interviews by Analyst to VP. Usually the interviews were 30% behavioral and 70% technicals.
Behaviorals were a mix of ‘tell me an experience when’ and asking you what you learned from a specific experience in your resume / digging into your resume.
Technicals were the usual, accounting and valuations, with an emphasis on DCF (everything from EBITDA to FCF, WACC, beta, multiples, etc). One of the interviewers did go much harder with more conceptual finance questions and merger model questions.
