Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Applied online in early September and received the assessment center in early November. The AC was entirely online and fairly straightforward. 1. Group interview, 8 people, discuss a topic JPM sent us 3 days ahead of the AC; 2. Two 1 to 1 interviews with 1 VP from Credit Coverage team and 1 VP from the ECM team. The first one was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, the dude was not paying attention at all and did not show any interest in listening to my answers - no interruption or stress test however. Had a really nice conversation with the second one but still didn't get proceed for the next round (heard that successful candidates would receive an MD interview on the same day). Both interviews were classic IBD, 50 tech (LBO focus as I had PE internships before) + 50 behave. Nothing surprising.
