What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had a first round with their real estate credit securities team. I applied online and heard back about two weeks later. The interview was through Zoom with a director on the team.
The interview itself was pretty straightforward. He had me walk through my background, why I'm leaving my firm, and why I'm interested in his team. Then he had me do in-depth walk throughs of two deals that I've worked on in the past.
The interview was average difficulty with no surprises. But I didn't make it to a second round likely due to limited credit experience. I have a background on the equity side. Base salary was $120k-$165k for 1-4 YOE.
