Summer Intern

I was referred to the firm (very late, after they have almost completely filled the summer class) by someone I knew who worked there. Got a call the next day from the recruiting team, talked to them for about half an hour (very informally, it did not feel like an interview, they asked me what I was interested in, which group, which office). I told them my preferences and I was flown to the office of my preference for an interview (about three weeks after the first phone call). Arrived there, had lunch with two associates, then two interviews with partners, got an awesome blanket from the recruiting team and went to my hotel. Got a call from one of the partners I interviewed with on the way home from the airport. Accepted on spot.
