The process started with a video interview and a set of psychometric assessments. If you pass those, you go straight to Super Day — so it's quite selective from the start. Super Day consists of a series of back-to-back interviews covering behavioral questions, commercial awareness, and a case study where you're given an M&A scenario and have to present your analysis and recommendation

1st stage: online SHL assessment
2nd stage: video interview on zoom with case study, given the case study in the call (hypothetical company's financial statements) and 15 mins to prepare answer to 5 questions about the company and the numbers.
Interview Questions
Nothing very unexpected, just analysing hypothetical financial statements of a company and seeing what I could interpret from that to answer some quite basic questions.
First 30-40 mins was just an introduction to the role and KPMG, along with introducing myself
Next 30-40 mins was on the case study, starting off with 15 mins to prepare my answers to the questions, and then the rest of the time working on the answers with the interviewer.
Question #1: what type of company do you think that this is (based on the financial statements)?
Question #2: How would you find the equity value of this company?
Question #3: How would you value this type of company?
Question #4: What do you see as the potential risks for this company (based on the financial statements, again)?
Question #5: Do you have any questions for us?

I don't remember the specifics but the case interview consisted of 10 questions with different scenarios where I had to walk through the implications of said scenario. For example, the CFO has been reported this expense this way. However, he had to do it this way. How will you fix it?
