The process started with submitting a resume through the company's online application portal, which included standard questions such as GPA, school, graduation year, and other basic questions. The next stage was a 30-minute phone screening with HR, focused primarily on fit and behavioral questions like, "Tell me about yourself," "Why Lincoln?" "Why investment banking?" and "Why this specific city?". Following that, there was a 30-minute Zoom interview with an associate, which combined technical and behavioral questions. It followed the typical format of an investment banking interview, so preparing with the 400 IQ guide is recommended, as many of the questions came directly from it. For example –

• Walk me through a DCF
• Why do you use a discount rate
• Would company with or without dept have higher discount rate
• Explain working capital in simple form
• Concept of levered vs unlevered FCF

The next step would have been in person Superday, but I declined due to already accepting an offer from another firm.
