Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initially sent a networking email to an MD in another group I was trying to get into--the MD directly forwarded it to the valuation group recruiter (my role at the time was in Valuation). I figured it wouldn't hurt to see what they had to offer.
Had an initial phone screen with the recruiter to gauge interest and experience, followed by two rounds of interviews in the NY office.
First Round - Technical (very simple three statement model, and DCF)
Second Round - Series of behavioral / fit interviews with various members of the team from both NY and Chicago offices
Got the verbal offer the following day (Friday). Official offer came the following Monday.
