Please describe the interview / hiring process.
If you fall into the category of one of Lincoln's "core" schools, your first interview will be in-person on campus. Typically, an analyst who is an alumni of the school will reach out prior to on-campus interviews to set up an introduction call in order to give you some background on the firm, the position and answer any questions you may have at the time (if this type of call has not already taken place). The on-campus interview will typically be with 2 bankers from Lincoln, usually an analyst alumni as well as an associate or vice president. Decisions are usually made very quickly (often the same day), with in-office, final round interviews taking place either later that week or the following week. The final round is typically composed of 4-5 interviews (same 2-on-1 style) with bankers from all levels of the firm, followed by a lunch (also 2-on-1). I should also mention that Lincoln will often host pre-interview group dinners with all candidates that will interview the next day--these may take place on-campus, in Chicago before the super day, or both.
