Interview

I am still waiting to hear back, but have completed two virtual interviews so far. The first one was strictly behavioral, and the second was fully technical. I was asked about their portfolio companies, why growth equity, and then a set of basic technicals. He went pretty in-depth on deferred revenue, as well as valuing different aspects of a company.

Interview Questions

The most difficult questions were related to describing the operations of their portfolio companies. Do your research ahead of time to understand their business models and how they operate. I was asked to identify specific risks pertaining to one of their portco's, and the depth at which I was asked was the most difficult part.

Was well structured, 3 1-on-1 interviews with both technical questions and personality questions. Not too hard on the financials, but was more qualitative/investment focused and consisted of prior deal questions

Interview Questions

Nothing was remarkably difficult, but they did ask questions about interesting healthcare companies that would make for good LBO targets - the team knows their stuff, so you can't BS with some half-assed company or idea. Remember, they know more about healthcare than you do.
