summer advisor consultant

I began communicating through LinkedIn to alumni. Following their advice I contacted more advisor consultants (AC)s and began networking. Through a school presentation and office tour I was able to meet in person with the alumni and show genuine interest. Following more networking and conversations I applied and followed up to ensure I would at least be reviewed. I began with a behavioral/fit based hireview, with questions that are much more personal and understanding in comparison to a JPM, GS, UBS, etc, hireview, where the questions seem randomly selected and involve nothing a hiring manager would want to ask a candidate. Assuming those go well, it is followed by a set of interviews with ACs on the desk. Assuming those go well you get passed on to second round with more senior firm members. I was fortunate enough to interview with a partner and it was a great conversation. Assuming those go well there is a final interview.
