Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First round interview consists of a lot of back ground check, brain teaser and motivation question. Also they asked me one logic question (consulting like). Then they processed me to the psychrometric test, which consists of verbal, logic, math and personality test. The test is located at their headquarter and will take you about 2 hrs. Then one month later, they informed me that I have been invited to the final round interview. The final interview had two parts, case study and pure behavior interview. The case study is about a recent M&A transaction in U.S., and they will discuss the details of the transaction, like offer amount and offer structure, with you. Also, they are waiting to ask you some brainteasers and basic M&A concepts. The second competency interview is purely focus on your motivation to Macquarie Capital and you should be very familiar with their transactions, strengths and cultures in order to stand out. Received rej phone call 2 days later, told me that I'm good on tech but little motivation to work for them. :(
