Macquarie conducted a round of interviews on campus. This consisted of one two-on-one interview which lasted for about 30 minutes. Generally they were nice and laid back, did not ask any ridiculously difficult technical questions and were trying to understand your thinking process rather than getting the right answers. A few brain teasers of average difficulty were asked as well.

On campus interviews were followed by a psychometric test which is something like a combination of an IQ test, a personality test, and a scientific reasoning test. There is a little bit of math but nothing too complicated. Unfortunately there is no way to prepare for this, all you can do is try to as consistent in your answers as possible and hope for the best.

The second round of interviews was conducted at Macquarie's offices in NYC and consisted of two two-on-one interviews of 30 minutes each. Structurally they were fairly similar to the on-campus interviews.
