Please describe the interview / hiring process.
On campus hiring/recruiting process took roughly 3 months. The process was relatively low touch with few opportunities for informational interviews. There was one closed list event prior to application deadlines.
The first round interview was conducted in a 2-on-1 format with half technical and half behavioral questions asked. It was very conversational and relaxed. The interviews, at least in my case, we extremely upbeat and set me at ease.
The final round interview, in my case, consisted of two 1-on-1 interviews with a SVP and MD. Each wewre conversational and strictly behavioral. The main focus was on fit and why my interest in the bank. They very much seemed interested in me and it made it seem more like their efforts to convince me why I should come to Macquarie.
