Interview
Overall was just average. They call their last round the technical round but not the case, just case study to test your critical thinking. Second round is more important!
Interview Questions
During the second part they asked for specific models and equations like WACC and DCF. I assumed that would be in "technical" round which is last one.

Interview
I'm from a non-target school near Boston, and so as a sophomore, I decided to apply to Search Fund Accelerator. Interview was a 20 minute skype interview "beer test" / easy techs. Then the final round was held in Boston where I met with my potential financier and pitched a few industries.
Interview Questions
Skype interview was traditional "weed out" interview. Interviewer was pretty charismatic and asked a couple of fit questions then moved on to a few technicals. Technical questions consisted of things like "if you had a business with 10% EBITDA margins" what would you try and do? They asked these really broad, sometimes market focused technicals that really left it up to you. Therefore if you had experience in finance or knew a lot about finance, you could really shine. Other questions were things like "what makes a good LBO target".

Do you think Fed increase interest rate will create positive or negative impact toward the capital market in the year of 2016? We are a small firm, why dont you just stay at firm X?

Presentation
Interview
First on campus networking session, then invited for on campus interviews. After one week they responded with superday invites and had to prepare a presentation. On superday there were 4 interview sessions--each 30 minutes long and one session was the presentation on your industry research. Then after one week invited back for a final round with the Director and decision notified a week after.
Interview Questions
Q&A session after presentation, they asked many hypotheticals and really asked questions that tested your knowledge of the industry you researched. Needed to be sharp and know the answer as they were experts in that sector. Also a surprise technical analysis in the first round.
