Landed an interview for this structured internship program in PWM by cold emailing. Went through phone interviews with three people: the branch manager, a financial advisor, and a trainee. Questions were all fit; they want to know you have an understanding of what the wealth management industry is about and how it is incredibly client-focused. More importantly, they want to make sure you can hold a conversation beyond just answering preset questions. I'm sure having a very strong GPA and solid EC's helped as well, especially for an industry leader like ML.
