Please note: This interview insight is for WorldQuant (a spin-off from Millennium Partners).
Initial contact made through a recruiter.
One technical phone interview, followed by an online skills assessment test (coding in C/C++, algorithms, data structures) and online personality test.
Invited to the main office in Greenwich, CT for a full day of interviews. The day started with a C++ coding test in front of a computer (1 hour). After that I was asked to take a paper exam, which tested knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software engineering principles (2 hours).
After lunch: Four one-hour technical interviews. (Three with software development guys, one with quantitative researcher) , followed by a conversation with an executive.
