Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The process was fairly informal at the time, but has gotten much more detailed. I did a phone screen with someone at the same level I'd be hired as, than came to the office for a total of 3 in person interviews (a peer, the person who would manage me, and his supervisor). The questions weren't overly technical, but that's because I didn't have a lot of risk management experience on my resume. They did want to know that I could think in a structured manner and had an understanding of the financial markets. This process has changed though, and we know require candidate to give a presentation of a Risk Measurement subject to ~5-7 members of the group.
