Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initially a phone screen gauging interest in why tech banking and level of deal exposure at prior firm. Followed by a superday with 4 bankers the following day. Two senior bankers focused on industry / landscape talk and inquired about my opinion on several recent developments, but did not press me heavily if you could articulate something reasonably. One banker focused on rapid fire technicals, nothing that requires hand math, but seeing if core concepts were being properly understood. One banker focused primarily on behavioral questions, mostly out of the 400Qs. Each session was 30 mins plus an additional 30 min case study where you had to write a memorandum explaining the situation to an MD based on your distilled quick analysis. Received offer the following day.
