Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The position was a temporary role. Started the interview with the hiring manager's right hand explaining the company, it's stock ticker, some talking heads within the company, and my knowledge of the organization. As that conversation came to an end, another two team members entered the interview, including the hiring manager. We all then dove into the job credentials which included analyzing the trade data to ensure the back end transactions were completed according to the contracts. I was to update the accounts, and make sure the contracts would close out properly. From here, we discussed my resume and accomplishments, which seemed to reflect my ability to complete the role responsibilities. As we discussed my history, we were able to touch on commonalities between the interviewers and myself. The job pay was already known, so we touch on that as well as the culture, hours of work, and security procedures. After all this, I decided I was not interested in the position and politely declined the offer.
