1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I submitted a resume and cover letter online without knowing anyone inside the company near the middle of January 2014. In the middle of February I was contacted to specify my divisional preferences - I chose Global Capital Markets and FICC, and was selected for FICC (some people got asked for both of their preferences). The firm gave me about a week's notice and I flew to New York in early March. I had two 30 minute interviews, both with FICC executive directors. One was more behavioral (very easy and classic, except for the fact that I was a freshman and didn't yet have a lot of preparation) and one was more technical.
