Equity Research Associate

Saw a job posted by an MS recruiter on LinkedIn and talked with the recruiter directly. She said it is a great opportunity to work for a well-known researcher in the industry. Taking two rounds of phone interview first and then assigned a case study on equity performance of a portfolio and a writing sample. Then invited to an onsite interview with 5 people and talked with the head of ms research on the phone. As I thought everything should be ok, then asked to talk with a 3rd party "consultant" from an india consulting company.
