Got the interview through a referral from a contact in the firm.
It was my first equity research interview, and I had not learned about WSO yet. I interviewed with an analyst, did my stock pitch, but wasn't nearly as prepared as I needed to be. It was the basic questions -- why equity research? Pitch me a stock. Then more questions on the pitch. Though I didn't get the role, the experience was invaluable.
