Equity Research Summer Associate

Applied online and was contact for a phone interview within 1-2 weeks. Had phone interview with senior analyst, mainly focusing on experience and enthusiasm for equity research. Was contacted for a super day within another week. Had four 30-minute 1 on 1 interviews (3 with senior analysts, 1 with management), focusing on different areas. The first was mostly accounting-based. The 2nd was experienced-based and I also shared my stock pitch. The 3rd was my stock pitch as well as sort of a stress test, in which the analyst tried to talk me out of going into research, and the 4th covered my interest in equities (talking through several stocks I liked and valuation metrics I'd use). Got offer next day.
