Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First, phone screen with the COO/HR head of the group (walk through resume). Second, invited for a superday where I interviewed with 4-6 people (Associate, VP, ED, MD). Questions ranged from easy behavioral questions to more difficult technical questions (walk me through a DCF/LBO; how do the 3 statements tie together; what happens to the statements if x happens; how do you value x) as well as brain teasers. Some interviewers were more relaxed than others and was more concerned about fit and others were more direct/technical to make sure you can do the work.
