Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied online and received a phone interview a month later. It was mostly technical questions on corporate finance and valuation methods. The second round consists 2 one-on-one technical interviews with analysts/associates. All of the questions before the assessment centre were quite technical, with a few standard competency questions, such as:
The assessment centre consists of a numerical test, 1 motivation interview, 1 technical interview, 1 case presentation, and 1 group discussion. Make sure you know everything about M&A and valuations inside out, and really have a good thought about your story.
In general, very positive and smooth process and interviewers are very nice, which makes you want to work for MS more.
