First stage: Morgan stanley is defined as a low touch firm, so there was limited networking here. The first stage or connect was a zoom session with someone on the team who asked me very few technical questions and more around my interests in Morgan Stanley and what deals I was following within the industry. After getting throough this, I was invited for a second interview four weeks later.

Second stage: This was an in-person session with two people from the team, a VP and an Associate. The questions were from the 400 questions guide and were not really difficult. Focus was on Income Statement, Equity Value, Beta, M&A.
