Internship DCM

I was first contacted by HR and was told that they are interested in my profile and would like to interview me.
So after setting up a date for the interview I started preparing myself for this first round phone interview. I have to say that I was already very nervous prior to the phone interview. However, I did pass this first round as the interviewer (2nd year analyst) was merely asking questions from a list of subjects and mostly grades and my motivation for applying to that firm. Second interviewer during the first round was a VP who seemed to be a really cool guy. He was asking for my motivation about the things I have done on my CV. All in all, very good impression.
Consequently, I was invited for the 2nd and presumably final round of interviews. This time 1 on 1 interviews with two associates and one director. The director was an amazingly cool guy whom I was talking to for only 5-10 minutes on the phone. It would be an understatement if I would say the interview went bad. It was horribly bad. I had a blackout due to the vast amount of coffee I had prior to the interview. The questions were absolutely doable and fair. However, the lack of interview experience has played its part during the conversation and has provided a completely different picture about me to the interviewer. Some brainteaser and math questions (how old are you in seconds?).
