What did the interview consist of?

1 on 1 Interview

Please describe the interview / hiring process.

First round interview with VP, discussed predominantly previous deal experience, going into the modelling I had done, questioning the assumptions I had made.

Next round was Superday, 3 back to back 30 min interviews. No behaviorials asked beyond "Tell me about yourself", "Why Banking" and "Why MS". Purely technical questions related to previous deal experience or more abstract questions than the ones found in 400Q. Interviews would guide you when you made a mistake, and seemed happy when I mentioned deals they had worked on that other candidates didn't know about.

Interviews were done virtually as I wasn't in the country at the time, but I know other candidates were invited to the office. Technical questions never went beyond Accounting, Intrinsic Valuation and Relative valuation. Interviewers came across as nice but intense, but overall enjoyable to speak with.
