Sophomore Summer Investment Banking Analyst

The interview was following a diversity program for rising sophomores.
It was 3 one on one interviews back to back over the course of one hour. One consisted of behaviorals, one of technicals, and one of markets/dealflow. The behaviorals one was very conversational, explicitly not trying to trick you but just getting an understanding of the person. Technical portion consisted of 2 basic accounting questions, and couple questions about WACC and Beta. Finally, Markets interview was probably the one I struggled with the most, my interview was pushing me about the deal process of the recent MS deal I chose to talk about. Each interview left a minute or two at the end to ask some questions or provide some general advice.
