Summer Analyst

Go to a non-core school for this office. Reached out to an alumni who pushed my resume through. Had some initial screenings over the phone with some analysts which went well and then was notified a month later via a phone call that I was invited to the super day in the office.

The super day was intense, most kids I saw were from UCLA/Cal and a lot of the analysts in the bull pin were USC guys. My super day consisted of three rounds of interview. The first one was a mix of fit and technicals. Standard questions like why SF/banking/etc. Technicals were super basic (probably because I am not a finance major and had no relevant prior coursework). The second round was with two associates and was entirely a "case" based logic question. Third was a 1 on 1 with the ED of the office, mostly felt like a conversation and left a lot of time at the end for questions for him.

This office has always recruited earlier, but now the entire West Coast BBs are following the same time line.
