Summer Analyst

Received phone call to discuss what finance/modeling experience I had. Athough I had taken basic accounting, it was determined that due to the structure of the firm (lean), they simply did not have the capacity to handle a summer intern that would need training. They indicated that they had tried it in the past and it did not go well. They were very friendly about it and suggested several alternative ideas, once of which led to my internship this summer.
