The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Interview
Received phone call to discuss what finance/modeling experience I had. Athough I had taken basic accounting, it was determined that due to the structure of the firm (lean), they simply did not have the capacity to handle a summer intern that would need training. They indicated that they had tried it in the past and it did not go well. They were very friendly about it and suggested several alternative ideas, once of which led to my internship this summer.
Interview Questions
Walk me through an LBO?
At a very high level, I understand that it involves taking out a loan in order to cover the purchase of a company, then using the cash flow of the company to pay principal and interest on the loan until the company can eventually be sold at a profit.
Why do you want to work in PE?
I'm interested in it for numerous reasons. (Here I told what I had crafted of a story so far, it wasn't that good) and suggested that I liked the idea of having some skin in the game but also being able to learn the detailed company analysis that you do in banking.
