Financial Markets Rotation Program

Applied online. Got contacted by National bank recruiter over email indicating I had been selected for a skype interview (first round). The initial interview was supposed to take place over skype. However, after multiple technical difficulties the interviewers chose to call me instead. I was interviewed 2 individuals an associate formerly in the rotational program and currently a corporate banking associate. Also, a director on one of the trade desks was part of the interviewers. The people interviewing me were quite nice, seemed honest enough when I asked questions regarding their experience at the Bank. The interview process was short about 40 minutes for for questions. Specifically it was mostly behavioral questions centered around leadership, teamwork and conflict resolution. I also got asked if I would prefer IB or S&T, as a follow up to that I got asked what desk I would like to be on and to give a description of what happens at that desk.

My advice would be to be ready for any behavioral question as also why you want to work at National bank.
