Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The recruiting process consisted of a short phone screening and a few rounds of face-to-face interviews. I met almost everyone at the firm except some juniors who were not around at the time. In general, the interview questions are quite easy, nothing too technical. They are supposed to test candidates' abilities to think on their feet and their views on investments. The key issue for me is the work itself at an analyst level. I do not want to spend most of my time reading and writing at work, as is common at a fund of funds, so if you are looking to leverage your analytical or quantitative skills (i.e. financial modeling, financial engineering, etc.), this is not the place to go.
