Summer Analyst IBD

Applied online 2 weeks after they opened. The application consisted of standard CV + cover letter submission as well as past work experience descriptions. Was contacted a few weeks after for a first round interview at the company HQ in London. This consisted of an LBO case study (difficult but they went easy on summer analyst, more strictly on grauates) and a standard competency interview (mostly CV based)

Got a call the day after that I am invited to the final round interview. This consistent of 4 1 to 1 interviews with senior people (2 VP, 1 Exec Director, 1 MD). The interviews had different focus: valuation, questions about the industry, questions about my personality, interest, my parents' business (it was my selling point, as I got interested in finance while helping them), why banking why Nomura etc.

Received a call from the MD a day after that I am in.
