The process was relaxed and straightforward. I applied online and completed an initial personality style assessment before speaking with anyone. After that, HR reached out and scheduled the first video call. That conversation focused on my background, why commercial real estate interests me, and what drew me to Northmarq. It felt very casual and more like getting to know each other.
I was then scheduled for a second interview with someone on the team in the office I applied to. We walked through my resume, how I handle group work, deadlines, and communication, and what type of environment I like to be part of. It stayed behavioral and conversational without anything technical.
There was one more short follow up conversation after that to talk through interest and logistics. Across all three touchpoints, everyone was welcoming, easy to speak with, and very open about the culture. It never felt high pressure and came across as people focused throughout.
