Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The interview process begins with an initial phone screening, primarily to assess background fit and general interest. After passing the screening, candidates proceed to a formal behavioral interview to evaluate soft skills and cultural alignment. Next, there's a technical call focusing on analytical skills, often involving case studies or investment reasoning. Following the technical round, candidates participate in 2-3 additional behavioral interviews with associates, VPs, principals, and sometimes partners, which dive deeper into specific deal experience, strategic thinking, and cultural fit.

Interview
It was a lot faster than I thought it would be. Honestly, I was trying to slow roll them for another fund in a different geography but the delta between initial call and offer was two weeks.

Started out with a screening call with VP, then spoke to two partners and the other VP. Afterwards I spoke to the two GPs before a model test and a "super day". "Super day" consisted of meeting everyone in person and a beer test.
Interview Questions
There was one MGP I met with that asked the weirdest questions. "Tell me something you don't like about your colleagues" and I felt like I was put in an awkward spot. I just kept saying that it's hard for me to judge and that we all have a lot to improve on. He kind of creeped me out during the interview.

Once I started out working though, he turned out to still be a weird guy but not creepy.

There was another interviewer who clearly didn't remember our phone screen and asked me the exact same questions. I wasn't sure if that was a test or not.
