I received an email from HR to setup a ph interview with the MD. The call lasted 30 mins. Soft questions trying to get to know me. Had me walk him through my resume. He was focused on whether I had experience managing analysts and to what extent I had manage aspects of a deal. He was interested enough to setup a 1-on-1 with him over lunch. The lunch lasted an hour. He described the firm, his group, deal team, and the responsibilities I could expect to assume if hired. We discussed types of deals, time frames, and went into detail about what I did on specific deals on my resume.

I thought the interview went well, but ultimately they went with someone else.
