Group Interview

Interview
Asked to create a real one-page investment pitch to present during interview with 5-6 members of the company. Members arrived late and would come and go from the zoom room as they pleased. The behavioral questions asked were about how I had gotten the opportunities on my resume, and nothing else. I followed up multiple times with the company and never heard anything (keep in mind this was supposed to be the "final round")
Interview Questions
Questions about how I got opportunities on my resume, not what I learned or why I'm interested in VC.

Interview
First step was to apply on university job board after speaking with current employee — just a resume drop. Once I passed the initial screening, I was asked to create an investment memo with certain parameters (ex: target company must have ~1mm ARR, 20-30% growth YoY) and was given 2 weeks to complete the task. Afterwards, I was asked to join a virtual interview where I presented my memo to several current partners and was asked about my previous experience, sourcing process, and general behaviorals.
Interview Questions
Most unexpected question was: "What did you do this morning?"

Phone Interview

Interview
The interview process consisted of a mix of behavioral interviews over the phone as a well as creating mock potential investment memos.
Interview Questions
The most difficult/unexpected interview questions that were part of the process involved just being able to identify potential investments the firm could make. You had to find a couple ideas that could fit the company's investment thesis and then pitch them (like during an investment committee meeting) over the phone to the partners. They then drilled you with questions regarding your rationale, which you had to have enough info/support to be able to respond adequately. So, make sure you have extensive background on the companies.
