Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process was quite straightforward
First round: technical questions focused on accounting, valuations, current news, Mergers models, quite a bit of LBO (paper LBOs)
Then the interviewer asked about my favorite business, how to think about the business, potential strategy ...etc (the more "operational" side of things)
Got the impression that the firm really wanted to hire "smart" people as opposed to people with vast amounts of shallow knowledge.
