HR initially contacted me to discuss the broad details of the position and team I would be working on. After having a brief conversation with HR and accepting the interview, I scheduled my interview a few days later. The interview was with the supervisor I would of worked under, the team leader, and the MD. The questions began with the basic questions about your resume, nothing too in-depth. After that, there were some behavioral questions (mostly relating to work ethic: prioritization, ability to meet deadlines, etc.) before a few questions about fixed income securities. The fixed income questions were not very complex and would not be considered difficult if you know basic concepts and characteristics of fixed income securities. After about 40 minutes of questions, the team leader began to give and in-depth description of the size of the team, what they do, and their main clients. The interview itself lasted just over an hour, and I was contacted by HR four days later with an offer. I ended up turning down the offer, but if I accepted I would had to of submitted a drug test (urine) and finger prints within 48 hours of accepting the offer.
