Corporate Banking Analyst

Applied via campus recruiting website. Interview process consisted of the following phases:

1) Networking Reception: Event took place the evening prior to on-campus interviews. 2 vice presidents attended along with 2 analysts who acted as peer hosts. Meet-and-greet situation. Low pressure.

2) On Campus Interview: One thirty minute interview with one of the vice presidents. Asked general questions about the economy: thoughts on the recession during 2008, opinion on TARP (was it the right choice by government), etc. Other questions were primarily behavioral.

3) Superday: Superday was in Philadelphia at the Westin. Evening prior to interviews consisted of another networking reception where you have an opportunity to find your interviewers and network with current analysts/associates. It's a good idea to get close to some, as they will tip you off to any potential questions that may be asked. Superday consisted of four 30 minute interviews. Majority are 2 on 1; however, some interviews will be 1 on 1.
