Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first interview took place at the campus recruiting center. Interviewees went to one of two primary interviewers for 15 - 20 minutes. Those that seemed like a good fit for PNC then had a brief interview with a more senior interviewer. It seemed like they were looking for someone that wanted to be at PNC (i.e. would likely accept an offer if one was given) and was aware of what was happening in finance and banking (e.g. I was asked how PNC would be affected by the roll out of Dodd-Frank). The second round Super Day consisted of 3 interviews, each with one to two people. Interviewees were also hosted by a peer host, a first or second year PNC employee. The peer host is given input into the hiring process. Again, it is important that the interviewee can express why they would like to work at PNC. Each interviewer asked a basic technical question (e.g. how do the three statements tie together).
