Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Very straight forward and simple interview process. I was contacted by HR about a week after applying for an anitial zoom meeting with the head of HR. Basic behaviorals - Why Progress Partners, why IB, what makes you cut out for this internship, explain a time when you had to juggle many things at once - then was asked a very basic technical question about what financial statement I would use to assess a company's health. Next I was invited to a second round interview with an analyst and was very pleasant. The interviewer was very cool and it seemed more like a conversation with some technicals as well. I was asked behaviorals about why IB, what makes me a good candidate, TMAY, and finally explained a recent deal and why tech banking. The technical portion lasted the last half of the 30 minute interview, and was basic technical questions about accounting, DCF, valuation, etc. I received an offer 1 month after my second round interview.
